We are so glad that you are visiting our site today. Also, we’re delighted to have the opportunity to get to know you, and invite you to share in the many ways that God is blessing our church.
As you spend time with us today, what you’ll find is that together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there’s relevant preaching and teaching, heart-felt worship that combines contemporary and traditional music, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, our goal is to have the kind of contagious Christianity that stimulates both the heart and the head and can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
On our site you will find a lot of good information about our church — I pray that you will take some time and review it. As you will see Maple Park offers specialized ministries for children, youth, young adults, singles, men, women, and senior citizens, just to name a few. We also offer many programs that can help you grow in your walk with God such as our Small Group and Bible Studies.
In addition to the many ministries that are outlined, please note that on Sunday mornings, we offer Sunday School for adults and Children beginning at 9:30 a.m. and Children’s Church for children from ages 5 – 12 on the first and third Sundays during morning worship so that the children can learn about God in ways that are fun and meaningful to them. We also have a nursery available each Sunday where your toddler can play, while you listen to the service in the sanctuary.
Every first Sunday, we offer the service of Holy Communion and every fifth Sunday, we provide baptisms for all ages. Every fifth Sunday our youth lead worship service.
So whether you’re a spiritual seeker who’s just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Maple Park United Methodist Church.
At Maple Park United Methodist Church, I believe you’ll find a place to worship, a place to learn, a place to grow, a place to serve, but most of all a place to belong.
